This lucky turtle of the day had 2 cleaner wrasse picking at its face. Its nice to get a shot of this action before the wrasse get scared away. Makena, Maui.

These fish were introduced to Hawaii and quickly proliferated. They seem to school in groups from 2 to 30, and reach about 10 inches in length. Honolua Bay, Maui.

This large Damselfish stays around a chosen rock or reef and feeds and lives there. They get to be 4-6 inches long and the black spot is very prominent. Honolua Bay, Maui.

I had never seen one of these before and I had to look up on the net what its called. I bet it would be a good eat, it was about 6 inches across with nice long legs. Olowalu, Maui.

The 2 fish behind the turtle of the day were going crazy buzzing the turtle. It was strange behavior for sure, maybe a territorial aggressiveness or mating ritual? Turtle Arches, Maui.
