These guys hang out in the dry parts of the island where kiave likes to grow!

Starting construction to clean up,  build nice homes and move beach users out of Makena Landing.

Just a few over the side of the kayak camera in the water shots, and this is what I got Makena, Maui.

There is a massive school of these at Honolua Bay, its entertaining to swim among them. They get to be about 4 inches long and seem to stay in one place all the time, although I have read they will go for a month or two and then come back.

First day this season at D.T. Fleming and this is what I see in the grass.

I found this nice specimen near Ukumehame, Maui.

I love how this fish fans out its dorsal and anal fins, its real easy to identify by that and the vertical yellow bars and yellow tail. They, like many other tangs, travel and live in pairs, eating coral and algae. Makena, Maui.

This was a dead crab that all the fish were munching on, I guess they like crab meat? Its cool to see so many fish up close like that, wish you were there. 5 Caves.
