These eels are very common in Hawaiian waters. They are usually about two feet long and hand out in cracks waiting for some food to swim by. These little guys are so shy that this is only the second time I ever saw one. They are tiny up to 8 inches long and this one had a nice white and yellow coloring. They are actually kind of cute too, since they are so small and unthreatening like its larger cousins.
