This little fish has some similarities to the adult, but I had to look it up just to be sure.  Makena, Maui

This Mu was the most docile and trusting one I have ever seen, they let me come right up to them and one came right up and looked at me. It was even more unusual to see them at the surface. Just one of those strange days where all the fish were relaxed?? Makena, Maui.

This fish is about a foot long and usually travels in a school of 2 or more individuals. They tend to stay away from people, usually hanging near the bottom. For some reason this fish let me get close, I think they are learning that people=food, when people barf in the water the fish clean [...]
