This is the big ET that hangs at Nahuna point of Makena.

This puffer is getting a cleaning by the local cleaner wrasse. Its fun to sit and watch the cleaner station and see what fish come by to get parasites removed. Olowalu, Maui.

This guy is a young pufferfish, as it gets older it will turn from the beige color to almost black, but the white spots remain. If agitated this fish has the ability to puff up more than doubling in size, (thus the name?). Their faces are so funny, you can really see the cheeks, lips [...]

Spotted puffers remind me of an old grumpy person, they are always looking so concerned, and worried that you are near. They way they swim is laboured and they huff and sometimes puff away.
